Founder and CEO – Sarah Thomson

Sarah is an entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience – from construction and development of convenience stores in gas stations, to establishing Canada’s leading online magazine for business women, www.womenspost.ca

Her time in politics as a candidate for Mayor of Toronto, and for Provincial government, gave Sarah an acute awareness of the important role that community organizations have in bringing about long term policy change through education campaigns. This led to the many volunteer positions Sarah has served at various not-for-profit community organizations.

Sarah is a passionate environmentalist having led the push for transit expansion in Toronto, she is the volunteer CEO of the Transit Alliance.  She was chair of the Escarpment Biosphere Conservancy a dedicated land conservancy organization. And is also volunteer CEO of Heal Terra a not-for-profit organization educating to reduce C02 emissions.

Sarah’s success comes from being a natural disruptor. She has a keen ability to identify unrealized market potential, to fuse together different business concepts and create significant change to industry standards (stores added to gas stations,  programming added to hospitality).

Sarah lives in Toronto with her husband and two children.
